COACH Beach Shop Collection: Beach Bags With Class

Overall I thought the collection was cute.  I wasn't as thrilled as I had hoped to be, but it's still a nice collection.  I think it's the shells and stuff that make the the bag look a little cheap to me.  Another thing is, I know it's a "beach" collection, but I don't think that I'd allow my Coach bag to sit in the sand wit the hot sun beating down and drying out the leather!  lol!!!  I don't know, that's just my opinion, what do you think?

You can check out more of the collection here:

I Must Have These Shoes!

These are from the Dior collection.  NO, I don't own a pair, but I would like it very much to receive a pair as a gift!  lol!  I love these shoes!!  I doubt that I will find anything similar in any of my thrift shopping excursion, but a girl can always pray!!

Thrift Store Handbags & Shoe: Dolce Gabbana Heels Included!

I'm in a clog mood.  These will do perfect for summer!

I just love the colors in this bag

Dolce Gabbana = cute!

I loved the different patterns and such.

This is why I love thrifting so much!  I got all of these items for ridiculous prices!  The clogs were $6. The D&G shoes were $3!!  I have to say that again...$3!!!!  LOL!!  The handbags, both, were $2.99.  So,see!!!  Such a small investment to look absolutely fab!  LOVE IT!

Nail Care: Fun Nail Colors No Matter The Season

Give Your Nails Some Flare

I love fun nail colors!  I want to say that these are some great fall colors, but I would wear these Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall.  They look really cute on toes too!  I ran across these at a store called, The Icing, while shopping in a local mall in my neck of the woods.  The Icing is a small accessory mecca!  They have jewelry, hats, bags, hair accessories, makeup and a few more must have necessities for us accessory fiends. Somehow I managed to leave out of the store with only a few nail polishes (I must have been ill).  At any rate, they had tons of colors and various shades of each color.  I picked up the ones in this picture, but as I am writing this, I feel an urge to go back to grab a few more!

I hope you have The Icing near you, because at $3 per bottle (buy one get one 1/2 off), these are an awesome buy!

Name of colors from left to right:

Gargoyle-matte grey
Lilly-light lavendar
Sunset-peachy orange
Chase Me-matte deep turquoise
Bad Romance-light brown.

*Tip: Sometimes matte nail polish can look dull.  Add a clear top coat to give it some shine!

Fashion Fun: Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Roses Alma Please

I'll take that!  This bag is so cute!  It's a Louis Vuitton Monogram Vernis Roses Alma.  I'm pretty sure this bag costs a little more that what I'm willing to spend (about $2,700), so what I sometimes do is see what top designers are doing and try to find something similar at a much lower price. Sometimes my hunt to find something similar leads me to find something completely opposite, and I end up creating my own look. That's the cool thing about fashion, you can interpret it however you want!

Hopefully this bag will miraculously appear on my doorstep, or as a gift on my birthday.  Until it does, I will be on the lookout for a look-a-like (not to be confused with knock-off) bag!

Fashion Fun: Riding Boot And Over The Knee Boot Trends

I absolutely love the trend of Riding boots right now!  It's funny how fashion really does cycle itself.  I have an old pair of gray riding boots that I picked up and at the time it wasn't really a "trend", I just really liked riding boots. Now that they have cropped back up as one of fall's hottest boot trends, I am all the way in on this one!  These are a few styles that I have my eye on.  I know for certain I won't be able to purchase them all, but I will most definitely have a pair of one of these boots in my closet soon!  I found a website that has a pretty decent boot selection with affordable pricing.  The name of the site is endless.com  I can't wait to get a pair of these babies! Below are few pair of some really fun high fashion boots.  They are the boots of my dreams!

DIY Manicure: Take your French Manicure From Drab To Fab

Mani-Madness
This isn't my best DIY manicure, however, when I actually take my time to do it right, which I didn't, it comes out pretty nice!  This is an easy way to give your regular french manicure more oomph!

First:
Prep your nails with by applying a base coat and allowing it to dry.  Then, use french manicuring tape or scotch tape (I used scotch tape) to isolate the tips of your nails.
Next:
Paint the exposed part of your nails and allow them to dry for 5 minutes or so.  Your nails should be mostly dry but this will depend on the nail polish you are using. I used 2 coats of Icing[Chase Me]. It's a matte turquoise color.
Last:
Remove the tape and apply a thin line of black nail polish above the turquoise color.  Then, apply a thin line of silver nail polish above the black and let your nails dry for another 5 minutes or so before applying a clear topcoat. That's it, you are done!  For the black and silver colors,  I used Kiss nail art polish.  It has a very think brush used for nail art.  You can find these at any beauty supply store and some drugstores.

Hope you liked this and that you give it a try.  Use your favorite colors and come up with you own color combination!

Fashion Fun: Leather Shorts Trend Made It To My Fashion Radar

Leather shorts are one fashion trend that I will definitely be following!  You know I rarely shop new, so I will be perusing some of the local bay are Thrift and Goodwill stores to find the perfect pair.  I will keep you all updated on whether or not I find some good ones!

I love these, especially the first pair.

I want her whole outfit!

I want hers too!

Fashion Dupe: Affordable Alternative To The Aldo Or Steve Madden Boot

Both Aldo and Steve Madden has a boot that is similar to these pair that I picked up at Forever 21.  Both Aldo and Steve Madden's boots are over $100.  Forever 21 had these for $36.00.  I was so happy that I found them, because I really wanted an affordable pair of fur lined boots for the winter!  This photo isn't even doing them any justice I tell yuh! I'm still having slight camera issues and this photo makes it look as though there is glue around the base of the shoe, but there isn't. I had to do a double take to make sure. Although they are very tall (5 inches) They are quite comfortable.  They had them in black as well along with lots of other pairs of shoes that I had a hard time NOT purchasing.  I have to hold back on the spending or the only one getting gifts this year will be me!
