I like Fedora's too :) I have my trusty grey one that seems to match with everything!
ReplyDeleteI know I'm late on this but I just discovered you. SO INSPIRED AND ENCOURAGED! I've been a thrifaholic since college some 20+ years ago.
ReplyDeleteAs for the hats....I'm rockin' a bit of e'rthing. But what I'm loving most is mixing head wraps/scarfs with over sized knit caps. I'm 4 years natural and I'm growing foxy out for a second time. I rocked a ceasar fade for half that time. So to keep my 4 inch growth (last fade was Sept 2010) protected from the frigid east coast temps, I cover my twists, braids or fro' (whatever i'm rockin) with a colorful or simple silk or silk like scarf. I peekaboo it under a over sized knit cap because i find the acrylic or wool material eats at my hair. the result is something quite chic. it's like a more mod version of what brothers do with do rags under b-ball caps except I only peek a splash of color or print from the scarf on the side or in the front. I'll have to share a pic before spring gets sprung and we shed our wintcessories like "a brand new day" from the Wiz.
